+ Excellent location. Close to train station and the beach. House was clean and had all essentials. Host was thoughtful and came over to provide missing items. Excellent location. Close to train station and the beach. House was clean and had all essentials. Host was thoughtful...
- The low headroom between kitchen and front room took us a while to adapt, but was all good afterwards. The low headroom between kitchen and front room took us a while to adapt, but was all good afterwards.

+ A really cosy little cottage, nicely furnished and decorated, with a well equipped kitchen. There are storage heaters and electric wall heaters for a boost (we stayed in November). The host provides a comprehensive guide for the house which was useful. 10 minute drive to local shops, and 15 to Asda superstore. There is also a very regular rail service from Normans Bay station, which was within walking distance. There’s a fab pub nearby, with bargain midweek menu offers. Booking recommended as it was busy. - The stairs are very steep with a peculiar sideways step into the second bedroom. There was a child gate provided though. The stairs are very steep with a peculiar sideways step into the second bedroom. There was a child gate provided though.
