+ Well located apartment, less than a five minute walk from the shuttle stop although we would have had problems finding it as it is tucked off the “main” street but fortunately a local was able to direct us. Alternatively, just look for Piu Sud pizzeria and the rental is on your way to the restaurant. Our room was clean and very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Lots of restaurants and bars within 15 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was self serve with coffee prepared to order. Seating was provided at outdoor bistro tables or could be taken back to seating outside your room. The evening in Matera was just magical! + All was excellent. We had a lot of info and help from Pasquale. He explained to us in detail what to see first in Matera, where to eat, park the car or catch the bus for the airport. The room was clean and very comfortable. We also had two chairs and a small table in front of the entrace to our room. In the room there was complimentary coffe, the coffe machine and tea. The breakfast was very nice too. Carnela took very good care of us, preparing the room and the breakfast. We had also the possibility to leave the luggage after check out before leaving for the airport. Thank both for making our stay and visit to Matera memorable. We hope to come again.
