+ Location for us was paramount, and we were glad it was so easy to find. We think it’s an under rated hotel which I will explain thoroughly. The room was large, and we paid for a large room so no disappointment there. It was very clean, well kept and up to date. We met the owner, a charming guy who is welcoming. Now, for the truth…..
− We were surprised there was no reception desk, only a barcode to call and get a key for the room via a lockbox on the wall. We were tired, as most travelers are so this was hugely unwelcome. Once in the room, we settled in, hoping to do a quick hotub and sauna since that’s why we choose this location. It was locked up. We went out to the pool, finding it too cold to enter. I’m a professional, looking for all the amenities when I travel. Just dont offer it if your not going to allow it. We finally contacted the host who explained why he has no on site help, closes the amenities and doesn’t man the front desk. Honestly, it’s not worth sharing because of the 100’s of hotels we’ve stayed the last 20 years, this is a first. Sadly, there’s more. The bathroom has a stand alone tub, the plumbing is not anchored and can be lifted! Quite unreal, as does the sink plumbing. The bed mattress was tilted, so the person sleeping on the less dominant side rolls to the middle, it’s quite advanced deteriation. Breakfast, we were told would not be typical as it’s an agriturismo and boy was he right. One crossaint is brought out at a time. There slim pickings here but there is a coffee station which is very nice. Our departure bill was padded with additional fees of 50 euros more than we booked for. Is this a better deal? I’d keep checking for a more suitable find.

− Not really negative but don’t use the map from apple you end up in a grass yard 😳
