+ We booked this last minute after driving far beyond where we thought we would stop on our way to the Dolomites fro Matera. Glad we did. Our hosts were terrific and so thoughtful. The room was extremely well designed and comfortable. The location was quiet with great views. We had dinner in the center of town, and the drive wasn't bad at all. Breakfast was very very good. + The peaceful setting and spectacular views over the Abruzzo hills, stretching from the Adriatic Sea to the Monti della Laga, make this a truly special place. The property is beautifully designed, with impeccable attention to detail, while the rooms are exceptionally spacious and wonderfully quiet. What makes the experience unforgettable, however, is Nina and Alex. Their warmth, enthusiasm and genuine hospitality create an atmosphere that feels both refined and deeply welcoming. When we return to this corner of Abruzzo, there is no doubt: this will be our buen retiro. Highly recommended

+ Fantastic hosts doing everything with the environment in mind and creating a self sustaining venture. Beautiful location nestled in the hills overlooking the picturesque countryside and seascape in the distance. House and rooms were fabulous and the breakfast was the best we had while traveling in Abruzzo! We will stay there again if we are back in the area!
− Roads were poor in the region..

+ location, ploce, food
− The owner was extremely rude with us, he refused to give us any small snack because we arrived a few minutes late due to traffic on the road, saying he was tired, it was his turn to eat and that he had to wake up very early the next day. He also immediately asked us pay an additional fee for our 17 years old daughter, questioning the booking.com criteria to classify adults and minors. He mentioned that a private parking was available to safely leave our luggages in the car, but it was not true, as he area was outside the place. When we expressed our surprise for these 2 issues he threatened us saying we could look for another hotel. His wife, on the contrary, was very kind and tried to mitigate the rude tone of the husband. Clearly a unique place and location, but a pity to that it happens to be managed with very poor interpersonal communication skills.
