+ Sono Merlino, un gatto che viaggia con i suoi due maggiordomi. Ieri mi hanno portato in questo posto e, devo ammetterlo, mi aspettavo il solito viaggio noioso. E invece, appena arrivato… sorpresa! C’erano una ventina di gatti ad aspettarmi! E, incredibile ma vero, anche due cani gentilissimi con me (e silenziosi!), in particolare quel meraviglioso cucciolo di Pastore Australiano. Il posto è spettacolare: per quanto mi riguarda, non me ne sarei più andato. I miei due maggiordomi, invece, sostengono che per loro sia stato come essere ospiti a casa di un vecchio compagno di scuola. Roberto e Roberta sono persone straordinarie, di un’accoglienza e una gentilezza davvero eccezionali. Anche la loro figlia è stata dolcissima con me e mi ha riempito di coccole. Un futuro da Veterinaria! La camera era perfetta: tranquilla, pulitissima e molto confortevole. E poi c’è la colazione, che — sempre a detta dei miei due maggiordomi — era semplicemente strepitosa: tutti i dolci fatti in casa dalla proprietaria, uno più buono dell’altro. Anche il caffè, dicono, era eccezionale. Io, naturalmente, mi sono concentrato su questioni più importanti: la fauna locale... E poi c’è Monte San Savino li vicino, che i due hanno trovato bellissima, autentica e tutta da scoprire. Dimenticavo: un saluto affettuosissimo a quella gattina grigia… Fufi, mi pare. Ha lasciato un segno nel mio cuore. ❤️ Peccato che siamo dovuti andare via così presto. Io sarei rimasto volentieri li per sempre. Ma ritornerò. E questa volta, spero, i miei servants non avranno fretta di ripartire.

+ Rooms are clean and nice, recently renovated with everything you might need. The location is very calm and charming, you can hear birds singing in the morning. The host Roberta was extremely kind and helpful and omg her homemade pastries for breakfast were heavenly. All in all, this is an ideal place for a stop on your Toscan trip that lets you experience Italy at its best 🫶

+ We coudn't rent a car in Florence (for them our docuemnts were not enough), so we had to travel to the property by train and feet. The owner -- a lovely lady -- was very helpful, she got us to a grocery store by her own car, and also helped us to rent a car in a local dealership. We had a lovely time staying, and only the best memories!
