+ The warm welcome and the very friendly host were particular highlights. This historic, family-run property is beautifully situated among the vineyards, and we were offered a bottle of wine on arrival. Free parking is also available. The setting is probably especially lovely during the summer months. The warm welcome and the very friendly host were particular highlights. This historic, family-run property is beautif...
- Unfortunately, these positive impressions could not outweigh the significant difficulties we experienced during our stay. The property is reached via a narrow, partly steep, unpaved and unlit road, and we briefly lost our way. As we do not speak Italian and the host did not speak German or English, communication required a little patience, but we managed with Google Translate. Not that is was relevant to us, but worth mentioning - the outdoor pool was being renovated at the time. The restaurant was closed. Our accessible double room was located directly next to the restaurant and breakfast room. Amenities listed in the description, including a television, washing machine and private entrance, were not available. We are therefore unsure whether we had perhaps been allocated a different room. We also found a noticeable amount of dust between the headboard and mattress, and the mattresses felt worn and uncomfortable. The biggest problem, however, was the cold. With an outdoor temperature of around 10°C, the heating was not on in either the room or the rest of the building, and there was no hot water. Although the host said she would look into it, the heating remained cold. As it was already late, we did not pursue the matter further and spent the night feeling very cold. Because the breakfast area was also extremely cold, we decided not to have breakfast the following morning.
