- Having to beg for details on how to enter the property. Information was good when it was finally provided, but was so last minute, we were outside the property and within the check in time that I had informed Lorenzo we would arrive at, it caused a great deal of unease. Not a polite way to treat paying guests. Also beware. Due to our own stupidity, we left the doors to the balcony open and have left minus a watch and a necklace. Don't leave any valuables in the property. At first I thought we had mislaid the watch, but then realised my necklace, which was in a bag in the wardrobe has gone too. Lorenzo has read my message regarding the matter, and as seems to be the custom, not bothered to reply. You live and learn. Having to beg for details on how to enter the property. Information was good when it was finally provided, but was so...

+ The location was excellent, with the room being at the top of the building with a fantastic balcony and view across the marina. The AC was effective and it was a pleasure spending a few hours having drinks before heading into the town for dinner.
− Access up 8 flights of very narrow stairs to the room was a real challenge with average size suitcases. For older guests this might be a serious issue so we recommend guests only take minimal luggage. We didn’t find the apartment manager particularly helpful and despite the information advising that he would meet us and take us to the apartment and parking he was not willing to do that which proved quite frustrating.

+ Beautiful view, great location lovely village great links to the cinque Terre. Clean and comfortable
− Checking in is only up till 7:30pm which is difficult if you were delayed like us. We were told we had to pay 20€ if after then to check in. I had my elderly mother with us and it took over an hour to find the apartment that HAS NO DOOR Number. We had the whole neighbourhood looking for our room. (The locals are lovely) the guy then agreed to come back and show us the room.

+ Amazing location with stunning views. Lovely room. Very well managed, very helpful staff.
− Although, we loved the approach via a beautiful little street and up a few steps, and it added to its charm. It would not be suitable for people with any mobility issues.
