+ We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and overall condition of the place. Based on the photos on Booking, we expected a more basic hostel-style standard, especially when it came to the bathroom. In reality, our room was absolutely spotless and very well maintained. The bathroom was simple, but clean, functional and surprisingly well cared for. The staff deserve special praise. Everyone we met was extremely friendly, polite and helpful, but also modest and genuinely attentive to the guests. They clearly take pride in keeping the place clean and making visitors feel welcome. Considering how remote the location is, we found the level of service remarkably professional. We also had dinner at the bar, and the food was excellent. The menu is simple, but everything we ordered was prepared with great care. The hamburgers were particularly good — freshly cooked meat, perfectly melted cheese and caramelised onions, accompanied by very good fries and cold drinks. Both the young woman serving the tables and the person preparing the food were friendly, efficient and clearly took their work seriously. Another great advantage is the small municipal swimming pool located just a short walk from the hostel. For a very modest entrance fee, it is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, especially in such a hot and dry area. There is shade around the pool, the water is pleasant, and there is also a small bar serving drinks and snacks. The service there was equally friendly and reliable. Finally, we really appreciated the honest and reasonable prices. The bar also serves as something of a local shop, as there is no regular shop in the village, yet the prices are perfectly normal and comparable to those in ordinary shops. Despite being in such a remote place, there is absolutely no feeling that tourists are being overcharged. Overall, this is a simple place, but it is exceptionally clean, well managed and welcoming. The people running it clearly care about their guests.
− One thing to be aware of is that the rooms do not have air conditioning, which can be quite uncomfortable in the middle of summer. However, there is a fan in the room, and the windows/doors can be opened, which helps considerably with ventilation and cooling.

+ The staff was great! We got toasts and sandwichs, which were delicious! It's a little in the middle of nowhere, espacilly if you arrive when it rains. But when the sun shines it's beautiful.
