- Check in was a disaster as we came at a late hour, but before 11pm and we ended up struggling to get the keys and get the doors of the property open. Although we asked for help there was no sort of willingness from the host's side and we eventually managed to get in on our own. As we came into the apartment we saw an unsafe electric panel at the entrance door. Although the property has a good internal space it lacks insulation and glazed windows in the bedrooms and bathrooms which means that on a colder night there is a need for heating, but there was none. For the price tag you would think that having the thermal comfort is a must but the host seems to think the opposite. With no insulation comes the sound problem. You can listen to most of the neighbours almost like they're in the same room as you or the housekeeper cleaning. The walls are crumbling around the internal doors and spiders are crawling in through the spaces between the old wooden windows and outside doors. And we couldn't close the bedroom ones, so the light woke us up in the mornings. At the same time they have a massive problem with the pipes because most of the days the sewage smells were unbearable. And through the pipes comes the cold water which makes loud sounds and hot water which is sometimes rather cold. Make sure that you have one short shower and leave it for a few hours before the next person takes its turn because otherwise you will be having a cold shower instead. In the very last night I was blessed with no hot water while trying to wash my hair and this was the moment when we asked the host for help once again and they once again failed to care about us. They said the boiler is good enough for four people to have a shower and that we should wait for a while and the hot water will be running again. Please be aware that we had a longer stay compared to other guests who used the facilities but stayed only one night. They provide WiFi but very poor and no signal all...
