+ This is a beautiful unit in a gorgeous location, with an outstanding host. The host was incredibly responsive, and proved me with wonderful information about the town, and places to eat for all meals. I had full confidence that they would have been happy to answer any questions I had. The unit is perfect. Clean, neat and it had everything I needed to cook, wash, be very comfortable. I was only there for one night, but I could have easily made it my home base for much longer. Take the owners recommendation on where to park in public parking. The streets right to the door are sketchy for driving! Highly recommended, this is a wonderful place to stay. Very homey. Definitely deserves a rating of excellent. + The apartment was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was modern and the shower was a good strong water flow with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and there was extra blankets if needed. Communication with the host for access was through Whatsapp and video which worked perfectly.
− The apartment was described as ‘ground floor’ which it is.. however the building itself can only he accessed by steps or steep inclines therefore not suitable for anyone with limited mobility or breathing difficulties. The lounge.. although equipped with table and 2 chairs had no comfort at all. Sorry but the ‘bed sofa’ for day use was so uncomfortable. 2 easy chairs would be better suited. Sadly the worst thing was the upstairs neighbours need to drag furniture around the room for 3 hours every afternoon and you could hear toilets, showers and washing machines so loudly as there is no sound proof insulation between the floors.

+ Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage mit einem romantischen Bluck auf Setenil. Ein außergewöhnliches Städtchen mit Charme. Die vielen Bars, Restaurants und Bodegas sind eine Freude. Tapas kann man leider nicht alle ausprobieren. Dazu hat uns die Zeit gefehlt. Wir hätten mehr als nur 2 Tage einplanen sollen. Da wir sehr kurzfristig gebucht hatten, erhielten wir die Anweisungen zum Standort, Parken und Zugang zu spät. Kommunikation und Schlüsselbox funktionieren jedoch perfekt. Die Aufteilung der Wohnung ist sehr geschickt gelöst. Küche und Essplatz bilden das Zentrum. Bad auf der einen Seite, Schlafzimmer auf der anderen. Derjenige, der früher im Bad ist, stört den anderen nicht. Kein unnötiger Schnickschnack, der nur Ablagefläche raubt und dennoch ist das Appartement gemütlich und schick. Ich habe es sehr begrüßt, dass es einen Kleiderständer am Eingang gab. Die Küche ist sehr praktisch und gut ausgestattet. Ein zweites Weinglas hat uns gefehlt zum stilvollen Anstoßen. Die Dunstabzugshaube funktioniert hervorragend und sieht gut aus. Bad: Erfreulich, dass nicht nur eine ordentliche Waschmaschine im Bad steht, sondern auch Waschmittel und Weichspüler . Haarwaschmittel, Duschmittel stehen in der großen Dusche zur Verfügung. Hochwertige Handtücher gibt es ebenfalls. Das Schlafzimmer ist großzügig, mit einem großen Doppelbett, das bequem ist. Die Decke ist herrlich breit- kein Zerren und Streiten... Die Bettwäsche sieht schön aus, ist aus Baumwolle ( nicht wie häufig aus billigem Polyester) und fühlt sich sehr gut an. Ausreichend Steckdosen sind vorhanden, auf der einen Seite mit Tisch, der gute Ablage bietet, ein geräumiger Kleiderschrank rundet die Bequemlichkeit ab. Man kann Tag und Nacht Fenster offen lassen. Gitter schützen vor Eindringlingen, ohne zu stören. Rollos lassen Licht einfallen, halten jedoch Insekten ab. Die nächtliche Ruhe ist fantastisch!
− Die Anfahrt mit Motorrädern war in den engen, teilweise sehr steilen Gassen, eine Herausforderung. Der Straßenbelag/ Steine hat häufig eine Patina.
