- I am a frequent traveler and this was the most horrendous experience I have ever had. I hope this saves you from a nightmare. I was planning to stay for a week but ever since arriving there was no hot water as the heater was broken. When I contacted the landlord, they offered no kind of support other than waiting until the next day despite me asking for urgent repair. The next day, I again chased the landlord, but I was totally ghosted for hours. I opened a cancellation process with Booking. The landlord told Booking I had messed with the water heater settings, which was absolutely a lie as the heater settings was covered with a sheet of paper that was intact. I had to provide proof of photos and videos of everything showing I did not touch anything. After 22h without hot water and still without being able to take a shower, the landlord showed up without even a plumber. Video called some people and told me to wait 3h more hours to "see if there is a solution". Worse, continued to refuse cancelling. I was only able to cancel the reservation via the platform after providing all proofs. And after everything, having lost an entire day of activities, tickets, the landlord had the audacity to tell me to wash the dishes before I left... That was the most terrible, indignant experience I had ever had, both with the place and landlord. I was left without a shower for almost a full day, which is completely degradant. Besides, the apartment cleaning is mediocre, the furniture and structure are all very old and smell badly. The bed is uncomfortable and the pillows are actually sofa cushions.
