Although it took 20min for staff to arrive to deal with the fire alarm at 07:30am, they were responsive on a Sunday morning. - The lift was not working and we were at the top floor. The floor in the room wasn't the best in terms of cleanliness. Doors would benefit to have soft close installed as we could hear doors banging close throughout the stay especially in the morning. The lift was not working and we were at the top floor. - The fridge in our room didn't work and even after asking for it to be fix it wasnt. The fire alarm went off at 7.30am on Sunday. As a regular london visitor The room is great but could benefit from a tea towel, dishcloth, bottle opener and instructions for the microwave oven. + Recently refurbished building - studio apartment was very clean and comfortable and well equipped with a nice bathroom. Despite being on a busy street the double glazing kept out most of the noise.
− A few minor points - no luggage rack, no coathooks and no hanging rail in wardrobe. A towel hook beside the bath would be helpful too. Mattress wasn't really up to the quality of the rest of the room There was obviously a problem with the drains/sewage system creating a bad smell in the entrance hall which occasionally made it to the rooms on the first floor

+ Location was great. So many links. Lots of shopping and food available locally. Vibrant area. Room was clean spacious and well fitted out. Shower was perfect. Sound proofing was good as street is always busy. Apart from the lift not working. Couldnt fault it.
− Room was 3rd floor and a slog with luggage and lift out of order. Wifi isnt great, didn't work at first and received another code which worked but drops out frequently. Minor points really. Host was quick and helpful.
