+ Spacious, comfortable and well equipped kitchen. The house was clean, we found the beds very comfortable and despite the language barrier, did get all the information we required from our host. Ample parking was available. For a quick visit to Pas De Calais over a weekend from Kent it is ideally placed as it is a short drive south from Calais and close to some other local attractions and villages. + The cottage is exquisite and & located in a beautiful little village. Cottage is beautifully appointed. Locals are very friendly & helpful. Owner made booking process very easy. Highly recommend - would stay again :)

+ Spacious, clean, quiet.
− There were extra 'optional' fees we were charged after we checked out and booked the property - €11 + €14 for bed sheets, €8 for towels, €15 per night cleaning fee. The extra costs need to be clearly shown in the listing or the price before you book, not added afterwards, especially because these items are things I would expect to be included in the price. After I questioned the cleaning fee, the host told me it's optional if I clean the property before I leave. This was not clear when we were initially charged. There are no hand towels or hand soap and no spare toilet paper in the bathrooms. Also no cleaning cloth to wipe kitchen surfaces and tables. With these things altogether, we did not feel so comfortable staying here.
