+ The hotel we booked we didn't actually stay in. Our room was in the sister hotel up the road which is smaller and quieter. I actually preferred it here. The grounds are amazing with a garden area with chairs and bean bags where you can chill. The room was really nice and very spacious and spotlessly clean. Dressing gowns are provided for you to use at the pool and spa. The location is beautiful but there is nowhere walkable. If you want to go to the main hotel you have to use your car. The main hotel has a bar which serves food and are reasonably priced. The receptionist was very grumpy and rude so not a nice welcome. All other staff were lovely. We had lunch at the restaurant at our hotel which is a buffet style with hot and cold food. No explanation was given to us on arrival so we weren't made aware of the grill where you could request fish and meat to be cooked. Half way through were were told by the waitress to ensure we paid on the way out not on checkout. It was at that point we were told it was 25 euros per person. So as we had not been told about the grill 25 euros for my couple of bits of tomato and carrot was very expensive. You can book a session at the main hotel for the spa pool at no cost and this is something you have to do. Its a large pool with numbered areas that has jets in it at different heights and pressures. An absolute must if you have a bad back etc. Swimming hats must be worn. The pool at our hotel was very disappointing as it was so small with about 4 sun beds. The hotel accommodates 400 people but the pool area wouldn't even fit 10 people comfortably. The hotel we booked we didn't actually stay in. − Staff on reception and wellness centre reception very longwinded and inefficient. Evening meal was not good...mainly fried, fatty food, tepid.Sickly desserts.

+ Great location. The food was wonderful. Very fresh and healthy. Plenty of choice. The dining areas are clean, tidy, and the restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant. Only thing I would comment on is that there wasn't any type of order in the buffet, as people just leaned over, and didn't join the queue.
− Reception. so slow. It took approx 20 minutes to check in, and even then the room wasn't ready, after I had paid, I still had to wait 30 minutes for the keys to my room. After a tiring drive, waiting just under an hour to freshen up or to rest is not acceptable. Same again on checking out. So slow, 20 minutes to check out. 2 staff available, and neither of them had a smile. They seemed to spend more time looking at the computer screen than communicating with the client. Is it a new computer system? as both checking in and out were the worst part of my stay.
