+ It was really clean! No carpet in the room which also gave a more tidy and clean experience. The rooms were attended to every day we were there for 5 nights. The bed, mattress and bedding were amazing so much so that I googled to see if I could find the mattress and discovered that B&B has an online shop to sell them! ❤️ Staff were friendly and helpful! The location is ok if you don’t mind a metro ride every day. It’s line 4 so connects you to Gare du Nord and the centre. There are lots of stairs however and no elevators/lifts as well as lots of corridors to walk through. If you’re able and don’t mind then it’s fine. It also feels safe around the area especially behind the hotel is like a little village feel, in front of the hotel is more urban and a big motor way. It might feel less safe to people who aren’t use to living in a big city. Overall though I may pay more to stay closer to the centre next time to be closer to the sites so as not to have the nightly journey back as it was tiring after 5 days. - The breakfast wasn’t that appealing to us so we didn’t eat there and I was happy I didn’t purchase it beforehand. We went to a few cafes around in the area for breakfast including the Mediterranee cafe (photos below) near the Montrouge station behind the hotel. It was a lovely cafe with a great choice of pastries and even oat milk available. Also at night we had wanted to purchase items at different occasions from the machine in the lobby but it was always out of order and without a sign to say so. Shower issue wasn’t great but not as bad as some reviews as long as we were careful not to spray everywhere and afterwards pushed the water towards the drain with our flip flops. − Ar conditioning did not work. I had to sleep with a wet towel near me. Terrible night. Get ready to get the bathroom all wet. Shower door is half way. Towel are very hard. Toilet paper terrible quality. Room is good size. Internet horrible. We had to buy SIM cards for 3 phones while we are there. Tv channels are all in French. You can’t change it cause it was blocked. No movies, no Netflix, nothing. No phone in the room. If you need assistance you have to go down stairs. Reserved for theee people and only two towels. Had to go down after 10 hour flight to get it. Remote control for the tv no batteries. Had to go down to get it also before knowing it was all in French. Close to airport.
