Set in a beautifully preserved 13th-century Devon longhouse, Bearslake Inn is a charming thatched pub nestled between Okehampton and Tavistock in the picturesque hamlet of Lake. Situated on the edge of Dartmoor, our inn offers a warm welcome, serving lunch and dinner seven days a week alongside locally brewed real ales and fine wines.
With six spacious en-suite rooms, Bearslake Inn provides a peaceful retreat with on-site parking and easy access to the A30, just 2 miles away. Outdoor enthusiasts will love our prime location, with Sourton Tor, Corn Ridge, and Great Links Tor just a short walk away, as well as the Granite Way cycle path running directly behind the pub.
Each of our rooms includes tea and coffee-making facilities, complimentary toiletries, digital TV, free WiFi, and en-suite bathrooms with hairdryers. Ironing facilities are also available. Four of our rooms are dog-friendly, making us the perfect choice for guests exploring Dartmoor with their four-legged companions.

Our bar and restaurant are open 7 days a week the bar serves drinks all day between 12noon to close. Food Service times
Monday-Thursday 12noon - 2:30pm | 5:00 - 8:30pm
Friday | Saturday 12noon - 8:30pm
Sunday 12noon - 4:00pm | 6:00 - 8:30pm
Dogs can be accommodated in some rooms upon request. Guests will be required to agree to the property's terms and conditions upon check in and a copy of these will be sent as part of the confirmation email.
