+ We don't usually stay in one bed cottages because of space but for two nights this was a little gem. Very comfortable and a decent amount of space - like a nice hotel room. The little outside seated area was a nice addition - it felt relatively private considering it is in a pub carpark. The Lion Inn - the pub next door and owners of the cottage was very welcoming and the food was delicious. Bed was fine, shower was fine. Kitchen.was tiny - obviously, being a one bed cottage. But everything needed was there. Location was fabulous. We used it as a base for visiting Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, Puzzlewood, and the Forest of Dean - there were so many other places we could have visited too. We also took a wander through the village to visit Harold's Stones. We would definitely stay here again. We don't usually stay in one bed cottages because of space but for two nights this was a little gem. Very comfortable...

+ Great location, lots of ancient stuff to find in the village. Would have loved to have been able to try out the pub but it was Boxing Day so closed early. Property was clean and warm with everything we needed.
− Only one small criticism. The towels provided were very hard!

+ Had everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Bed very comfy. Great value for money. We stayed for the New Year Gala at The Lion which was fab. Great meal and entertainment.
