+ This is cheep and cheerful for sure, yet exceeded my expectation on the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the property. Would happily return if I'm ever going to the NEC or Brum International again (Cavaet of the NEC is a short drive away, I didn't use public transport, and there is a drive way at the front of the property to pop your car onto.) Great for a short one or two night trip if you need somewhere that's literally just a bed to lay your head in before doing something else in Birmingham. - The area looks run down/neglected by the local council - not anything that the property itself is responsible for, but could be off-putting. I never let stuff like that bother me though, and will note I had ZERO issues. + I quite liked the size of the room, a lot of space for me to move around. Easy access charger cable aswell was a big plus. The location is great aswell, just down the road from shops and takeaways and also a 10 minute walk away from the train station which I used each day. - On the tv there was a lot of channels that didn't work or load but that didn't really effect me as I just went on YouTube but for other people that could be an issue. With the shower being shared there wasn't a lot of room for more than 1 towel on the rack at a time. Not a problem with the accommodation but something I'll bring up. There was a woman on the Thursday night that bought a pizza in but left the box in the kitchen. As its a shared kitchen, everyone has the job of cleaning their own mess up. + It was definitely as described and had all the facilities, comfy and clean and good value for the price!
− The only thing is that I had trouble getting in. I was under the impression that someone would be there at the home and hadn't been able to check my emails because of an Internet issue so I arrived late and had to get help in the local shop to try and find the phone number or code. I came from somewhere rural so this is a bit less normal for me to rely on Internet and just wanted to mention to maybe clarify things a bit more for those of us without smartphones etc.
