+ I had the pleasure of staying in a remarkable heritage home that has been lovingly preserved and restructured since the Second World War. As a family home passed down through generations, it possesses an incredible sense of history and character that made the experience truly unique. The property was exactly as described and matched the photographs perfectly. Every room was beautifully presented, and the three storey layout added to the charm and spaciousness of the house. The host was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history of both the home and the surrounding area. Her hospitality made the stay even more memorable. One of the most special aspects of the house was the stunning collection of paintings created by her grandfather. They are absolutely exquisite and add a deeply personal, artistic touch that makes the home feel like a living gallery. If you’re looking for accommodation with authenticity, history, and outstanding hospitality, I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. It was an unforgettable stay, and I would gladly return.
