- The AC is very weak and could barely be felt, even after running continuously for hours. It was not turned on prior to our arrival, and during the heatwave the apartment felt like a furnace when we first arrived. The apartment is also extremely difficult to find, even with the video instructions provided. We arrived at 10 PM in the dark, and it still took us a good 30 minutes to locate it. Getting from the car to the apartment is also quite challenging. The car is parked outside a locked and gated neighborhood, and there are a lot of stairs to go up and down, which was an absolute nightmare with luggage. There is no elevator, and the apartment is located on the top floor. The beach is also not as close as expected. It’s a solid 15-minute walk through many stairs, narrow alleys and under a train tunnel passage, which looked a bit sketch. I counted the stairs going down and back up from the beach, and there are around 800 steps in total. If you are not physically fit, the walk back from the beach is a real challenge. And then you have more stairs to go outside on the Main Street where the car is parked so overall beach to car is around 1000 steps. Finally, the bed is extremely firm. + The view was wonderful. The place was very nice. The whole apartment has slanted ceilings because it is an attic apartment. But they really finished the apartment nicely. The skylights were a nice touch too. The bed was comfy.
− The shower was a little tricky. With the slanted ceilings. My husband is 5ft 8in and it was barely ok for him. Anyone over 6ft would be a bit of a struggle. I would have liked to have used the washing machine but someone had left it full of washed clothes. The use of the washing machine was one of the main reasons i rented the place. So that was a let down. The instructions on finding the place were really hard to follow. I ended up asking a neighbor for help and fortunately since he knew the area he was able to help. The owner sent me a video but it was to fast to follow and confusing.
