- That the property was very unclean. The bathroom and kitchen were filthy, hairs everywhere, remains of food on cutlery and crockery, drawers had food and crumbs in them. The microwave had food in it and there was dark hair over the surfaces and the bathroom fittings and tiles. The sofa (inside and outside) had stains on the covers and the cushions had stains on them. The apartment is very dark in the living spaces. The window shutters and curtains are filthy. The apartment is on a main road so sitting in the outside area can be noisy from road traffic and the main bedroom is very noisy at nighttime from the traffic (the shutters rattle when vehicles go past fast). Some lights don’t work and some bulbs are missing. The kitchen is very basic and very unclean - no oven, kettle and crockery items (such as bowls) are sparse.
