+ We were two couples travelling from Germany (originally from India) and stayed here for four nights. We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Diego and Patrizia were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. Diego was exceptionally responsive and proactive in answering all my questions, making the entire stay smooth from the very beginning. The house is beautifully nestled in the hills of Berbenno, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Having a car made it very convenient to explore the area, although there is also a public bus stop nearby. Since our main destinations were Milan, Lake Como, and Lake Garda, this was the perfect base for our trip. The apartment was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the complimentary breakfast items were a thoughtful addition. As we visited during an exceptionally hot summer, the daytime temperatures were quite high and there was only one fan available. Fortunately, the nights were pleasantly cool, especially with the frequent rain. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view from the kitchen window on the second floor. Looking out over the lush green hills while listening to the beautiful church bells echoing through the valley was truly magical. As a lovely farewell gesture, Diego also gifted us two packets of pasta, which we greatly appreciated. It was such a thoughtful touch that perfectly reflected their hospitality. Overall, this was an excellent stay, and we would happily choose to stay here again. Highly recommended! + The location was perfect for a day visit to Milan - the host assisted with directions to a parking parkade with a train departure to Milan. The facility are clean, comfortable and the view is stunning! Will definitely come again.
