+ We especially enjoyed the service that Sara offered. We were lost but with her perfect english speaking skills she guided us to the location. She was very helpful as we got settled in and gave us a tour of the house cayetana unit. You have a great worker with you. In adddition we were grateful for Consuelo’s help at checkout. She is very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with her. She is so knowledgeable about the hotel. We especially enjoyed the service that Sara offered. + The location
− Pretty much everything, after been shown to two different chalets, I was allocated a third one. Not sure what the issue was with the other two, but upon inspection there were definitely issues with the one I was allocated. Damaged skirting board, hairballs on the floor and black mould in the bathroom along with rusted holes in the bath. My own fault really, should have read more reviews before booking. After reading some reviews I noted that some of the issues I encountered were reported back in February. Subsequently these issues had not been addressed , so it was clear that the owners do not care, therefore, it seem pointless in complaining. In addition, the restaurant was closed and this place is off the beaten track. As you can see the towel in the chalet was threadbare.Just don’t bother.

− Black mould in various places, including where our pets could sniff. Showed receptionist, he shrugged his shoulders, then left!! To check for an alternative room? Apparently not!! The hotel knew we'd travelled many hours to arrive & had many hours left to travel, got very little sleep, slept in clothes on bed as sheets dirty, left in morning without showers as bathroom not clean. There was also a problem with bathroom fan in a neighboring room, FAR too loud, vibrated throughout our room when in use, & after using the loo at midnight they left it running ALL night!! 😞 It -obviously- needs attention so why hasn't it been done?!. The receptionist tried to say it was the aircon but it 100% wasn't, we know as you can hear -everything- nextdoor, their coughing, lights in bathroom, everything else in bathroom(!!), and the extractor going on (& staying on). When reported black mould in writing, no answer all day until I pursued it, then they denied it was black mould!! Incredible! Just insulting!! Ridiculous - & audacious! I told them I have photos of mould on the walls on the exposed area under the sink, in the corners of the room at floor & ceiling height; all of the places mould forms naturally... But they expect to convince that 'coincidentally' the wall is old & damaged & just 'looks' like black mould, (& it only happened in these places where mould would typically form....??). Ridiculous!! They said 'it's an old building'. No, it's because you're not maintaining your rooms! This room should NOT have been sold in this state, black mould is a serious health hazard. Skirting boards hanging off the walls, hairs from a previous guest on loo, mucky bath, mouldy lamp shade, dirty chair, stained sheets, filthy inside drawers, chunk missing from frame, a total mess - is that all 'just the age of the building' also? Outrageous.

+ Desayuno bueno en general, pero lo que creo que no esta bien y se debería de mejorar es, Rocamador esta en el corazon del Cerdo Ibérico, la mejor zona de Dehesas de Extremadura en un desayuno en la zona de Barcarrota, es inadmisible que el jamón no sea Ibérico de Bellota y los quesos deben ser de La Zona también que son extraordinarios. Jamón de mala calidad, que pena con lo maravilloso que es el sitio y además con una cocina y productos de la zona extraordinarios. Buen restaurante y en este caso en la carta de comidas y cenas, carnes de Ibérico muy buenas y muy buena cocina, vinos muy buenos. Esto se lo he oído a mucha gente que se ha hospedado en Rocamador, el desayuno. Esto lo complementan unas extraordinarias migas buena bollería y Bizcochos Huevos fritos recientes, maravilloso pero que pena lo del Jamon y los quesos. Si eso supone una pequeña subida en el precio del desayuno la gente lo agradecerá en general. Hay también buenos embutidos que se podrían poner también. Es como si voy a San Sebastián y me ponen Pescado Congelado en un buen Hotel.
