- We were with a big car (KIA EV9) so be aware that you need to go through very tiny streets. To be honest it is not too narrow, we had to go through worse places but be aware about that. Also do not look so much at the navigation but check the signs. The other not so comfortable thing was that we were given a very tiny house that was outside of the main area, with very noisy stairs between the floors and very tiny table outside that we haven’t used as it was literally at the street. If you are inside the main area, it seems that their houses have nice tables that are also under good shade. + It's my second visit at Castello di Marano. This time I was alone and I opted for the small chalet, which is perfect for one or two people. It was located at the top of the hill which also provides a very nice point of view over the whole region. Like last time, the staff is always incredibly helpful and nice and the breakfast very well furnished. A sure bet, you can go there with your eyes closed, you won't be deceived.

+ Very friendly personnel and warm welcome. We were in a small house with a small kitchenette, a big bathroom with an Italian shower and a very spacious bedroom on the mezzanine. Worth noting that the breakfast was excellent and well stocked, which is not always the case in Italy. Despite our visit at the end of October and the fact that the outside bar was closed for the season, the jacuzzi and the swimming pool were still open and the water was really hot. There was even a small electric cart free of charge to drive down to the village. Very nice place that we'll surely visit again in the future.
− The wooden stairs to walk down the mezzanine were quite creaky which can make it difficult to walk up and down without waking up the people sleeping.
