+ A wonderful property in the heart of Tuscany, close to famous towns such as Florence and Siena, yet secluded enough to allow guests to enjoy breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills. - There were just two minor downsides. The road leading to the property was quite challenging, although we had been warned about it in advance. Secondly, the heating wasn't particularly efficient. However, I suppose you can't have it both ways: the charm of a beautiful castle with high ceilings and stone walls comes with certain compromises compared to the comfort of a modern hotel. + We liked everything: the authentic castle, renovated with great attention to detail, the breathtaking view and the wonderful hosts Tania and Tulio! Overall an incredible experience which we can only recommend!
− The gravel road which leads to the castle is a challenge.
