+ We stayed one night in Castello di Porcia in the beginning of October. That one night stay was just purely amazing. Our room could not be any better. It had a higher ceiling and colours of the walls and materials were really pleasant. Our room was SO clean (almost unreal) and also the areas outside of our room/common areas. Common areas were also really nice and this space upstairs was a brilliant idea and there they had a lot of things to do. I went there to read my book in the evening when my partner went earlier to sleep. It was so nice and quiet - and there was a comfy soffa! In our room we felt like royals. The bed was super good, there were so soft and luxurious towels with the great font and text 'Castello di Porcia' embroidered on them, the scent of the soap was amazing, the big shower, the warm light in the room ahh. The snacks what they have left for quests (and the surprise!!!) made me really touched. I felt like they have taken care of every single detail what possible. There were even possibility to cook! All the cookings tools were super cute. The staff was also the best ever. I went to take a look of the shop/Cantina which was downstairs while my partner took a nap. There I met a woman who was working there and she was so friendly!!! I was sad that I couldn't buy anything because we were on the road with the motorcycle and I told this to the woman. I still spent like an hour or so after that in this shop talking with the woman/staff who told me about castle's history and their factory and products. She even pour me a big glass of wine. We also got a lot of tips about restaurants/where to go to eat. She was super sweet. This kind of genuine kindess is something rare nowadays. Customer service was 10/10 and who ever had cleaned our room and common areas deserves an award aswell. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for giving us this kind of unique experience. + Everything. The exceptional cleanliness, the beautiful and tasteful interior, the attention to every detail and, above all, the unique atmosphere of staying in an authentic historic castle. The property has been beautifully restored while preserving its original character and charm, yet it offers all the modern comfort you could wish for. Everything was impeccable, from our room to the common areas. Even the photos on Booking cannot fully capture how special this place really is. It was without doubt one of the most wonderful surprises of our entire holiday in Italy.
