+ We appreciated having this quiet space all to ourselves - the common kitchen / dining / living room area was perfect for gathering and enjoying the breeze and the sound of the creek outside. We were participating in a race series, and the range of soaking tub, showers with great fixtures, and sauna ensured everyone had something that met their recovery needs. Our hosts were kind and responsive to everything we needed. We would gladly stay here again! Location was great as well - you can walk up into the busier part of town if you want (parking can be hard to find and costly), but the chalet is in a location where you're not constantly dodging people just to drive down the street. We had everything we needed to cook (including fondue / raclette). The Intermarche is the larger of the two nearest grocery stores. There's a pizza place that's open Fri-Sun just down the street to the left, and that also has a pizza vending machine (!!) for pizzas that you can get hot or bake yourself. The restaurant next door - a few buildings to the right - was really good, too. We appreciated having this quiet space all to ourselves - the common kitchen / dining / living room area was perfect ...
- We didn't realize that we should come ready with detergents (laundry, dish, dishwasher) and extra toilet paper - not something we've encountered in our other travels. Easy enough to pick up at the store, but it might be a nice thing to be able to offer travelers who aren't driving from home...those are items that tend to be sold in quantities more appropriate for a month-long stay and don't travel well if you have to fly. We didn't realize that we should come ready with detergents (laundry, dish, dishwasher) and extra toilet paper - not ...

+ Excellent location for skiing and very clean. Didn’t meet staff but any support we needed was dealt with quickly via messaging. Only issue we had was hot water.. there wasn’t enough for 5-people but we did manage to get this sorted so only struggled first day or so. Would be a good idea to have constant hot water rather than having to switch it each morning - just a recommendation. Our overall experience was not affected we are an easy going family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just as an after thought - there is WiFi - previous reviews said there isn’t so pleasant surprise and good connection. Would recommend and would definitely look to rebook if heading back to Chatel. + Séjour juste parfait dans ce beau chalet, très chaleureux, avec tout les équipements nécessaire et le petit plus du sauna réconfortant après une journée de ski ☺️👍🏻 Logement très propre et confortable ! La conciergerie est également au top, nous avons malheureusement eu un accident de voiture avant d’arriver au chalet, ils nous ont tout de suite aidé et assisté, nous permettant de trouver refuge au logement bien avant l’heure prévu … ! Une très bonne équipe qui est à l’écoute de ces clients et en qui on peut avoir confiance 👍🏻 réservez sans hésiter !!
