+ Only praise for the apartment and the host. The place was fully operational and stocked upon arrival. Entering it, you noticed right away a big bottle of water, some candies, and a wrapped cookie on the central dining table. To the right, a flat screen TV, a small closet with hangers, and a full size bed. To the left, the fully-equipped kitchen: coffeemaker with 2 pods and sugar; electric kettle with teabags; utensils; plates and bowls; even proper wine glasses! Dishwasher liquid, clean sink, microwave, and fridge. Range and oven. At the end was the bathroom: there was liquid soap and shampoo in the shower. Also, a washing machine with detergent and softener! Soft, cushy towels. Hand soap and even toothpaste by the sink. The hostess even helped me with the washing machine and offered space to hand my wet laundry (which alone was worth the rental). This was the reason for my pick after 10 days of travels in France. The host totally had me at the water bottle. Only praise for the apartment and the host. The place was fully operational and stocked upon arrival. Entering it, yo...
- Finding the apartment was a mess. I originally booked it thinking it was close to the Paris-Est train station. There was a 5 rue de la Prévoyance inside Paris. Which was where I went between 2 and 3 to get in as agreed upon with my host. Closer to 3, I called him. After some confusion, we figured I wasn't at the right place. His apartment was in Gagny, a town 37 minute drive east from the station, or about 1 hour metro ride. Maybe on Booking.com, there should be a picture of the building from the outside. Or it should be noted that it was not in Paris proper. For the record, I went to 5 rue de la Prévoyance in the 19th arrondissement. Finding the apartment was a mess. I originally booked it thinking it was close to the Paris-Est train station. There ...
