+ We had such a lovely two-night stay here and honestly felt very lucky to have found this place. From the moment we arrived, Nicolas made us feel incredibly welcome. He was so warm and friendly, and his personal recommendations for restaurants and places to visit were excellent. It really added to our stay. The château itself is beautiful and you can see how much care and love has gone into restoring it. Our room was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a lovely mix of the château’s character and all the modern conveniences you could want. The huge bed was super comfortable We particularly enjoyed breakfast. Christine provided fresh and varied options, even suggesting a soft boiled egg freshly prepared, and sitting around the large table in the warm, beautifully decorated dining room made it feel much more like being guests in a wonderful home than staying in a hotel. It was nice talking to the other guests around the table as well. The grounds are also a real pleasure to explore — peaceful, beautiful and perfect for a stroll although we were not able to walk around much as we were a bit pressed for time. For us, everything came together perfectly: the château, the room, the setting, the breakfast, and above all the warmth of our hosts. We really enjoyed our two nights here and were genuinely sorry to leave. We will definitely be back! + A gem of a place to stay in the Loire. Elegant, comfortable, family home with charming owners who looked after us very well. The house is historic and interesting, with lovely interior and grounds, it has a fabulous pool, and a ping pong table, which our boys loved. The rooms and lovely, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms.
