+ Nice little house in the centre of a quiet village. Fully-equipped kitchen, modern shower room. Though there are no shops in the village, fresh bread is available every day except Mondays from a machine located on the main road around 200m from the property. There is a bar/tabac in the next village on the N67 around 2km from the house, it can also be reached by a pathway next to the railway. + It was lovely and spacious, very clean and very well equipped. The bathroom was beautiful and the bedroom was delightful. It was also great that we could have our dog with us, and we enjoyed the peace of this charming village. Johnny, the host, was really helpful when we couldn’t get the internet working. - It was not the host’s fault, but we had to carry all our belongings from a car park some distance away to the apartment because the road was blocked off for repairs. As we had all our food and luggage, it was quite difficult, especially as we are quite ‘senior’. We were warned of this but rather too late to change our plans. Obviously, this is a temporary situation, but it made the access awkward. I also think that in the house, there should be a handrail on the stairs. It would be very easy to slip and fall as there is nothing to hold on to, so maybe a tip for Johnny to install one. It was not the host’s fault, but we had to carry all our belongings from a car park some distance away to the apart...

+ The check-in process was easy, parking instructions straightforward, everything was good, however… read the negative.
− I usually don’t write negative reviews, especially when everything else was alright, but there is one thing that I absolutely can’t stand: The bedroom stank of old cigarette smoke, coming from walls, furniture or god knows where. That ruined it for us and I can’t leave a better review.
