+ Great location!! Proximity to both Luca and Pisa is perfect if you have a car, no more than 20 mins to both,, yet far enough away to be very peaceful and quiet. - Only one issue I could mention as constructive criticism which did not affect the quality of our stay were the stairs to the mezzanine,,,, There isn’t enough of each of the steps available to step on to make it comfortable to get up and down the stairs,,, too much of each step sits beneath the previous one so you only have approx 1/4 of the step available to step on which makes it very precarious going up and more so coming down. Like I said,, it didn’t affect our stay hence why we have given a 10 score but it would make it safer if it was changed. Only one issue I could mention as constructive criticism which did not affect the quality of our stay were the stairs...

+ Everything was amazing, Francesca was a great host and helped us in every way 😊 ❤️ 😀 wine and fire outside waiting us in the night was absolutely delayed gift to close a travel day 😀 Thank you ! Kids loved playing outside and rooms were big and so clean. Coffee and cake was a plus and we fold like home. Beds were soft and bathroom was big and hot water all day.Definitely 5star !!! location a big plus near to Lucca and Pisa and village in 300 meters.

+ Staying at Covinaia Guest House was absolutely pleasant! Hosts are very caring and courteous. We were very late for check-in, but they waited to welcome us. Francesca treated us with homemade pastry, it was delicious. Guest House is situated in peaceful and picturesque area. Location is perfect not only for visiting Pisa (it takes 15 min driving to get to the city centre), but for exploring the whole region (Florence, Lucca, Livorno, Cinque Terre and so on). I think it is not reachable without a car. The apartment is very clean and very well equipped. It is exactly as shown on photos. Big supermarket is just 5 min away (but better go by car). As our daughter studies in Pisa now we will definitely come again.
