+ Stayed one night while passing through. Arrived late so we never met any of the staff. Easy late check in. Beautiful building and grounds. Room was small but clean. Was during a heat wave, so room was very hot through the night although they provided a portable fan. Good room for the price, was very quiet.

+ I had only used Craig Y Nos as a bed for the night whilst travelling on this occasion, but for the money it was all I needed. I stayed in a single bed room within the nurses block. The room was very basic, but was clean, warm, and comfortable. The shared toilets, and kitchen were simple as well, but also clean. Check in, and check out were very easy. I only wish I had more time to explore the rest of the castle!
− The only slight fault I could note was a strange smell in my room. I couldn't put my finger on what it was, but there was nothing obviously mouldy, or dirty. The smell wasn't intrusive at all. And I had accomodated to it to the point I didn't notice it within 15 minutes.

− The room is part of an aging, separate block behind the hotel called the Nurses quarters. This should be made clear in Booking.com Tea, coffee provided in the room but no cups available. I had to request one from reception.
