+ The best thing was the lovely hostess, Marie. She was kind and accommodating and beautiful. A joy to watch scurrying about. The pool was also a plus after a day of walking in the heat. Dinner was good too - a puréed nettle soup to start with and yummy sorbet and crepe to end with. It was fun to eat around the long table with other walkers. - It was a bit out of town, so after a long walk to get there, it was difficult wanting to walk back to enjoy the medieval town. We had booked the family studio with 3-4 bedrooms and a living room sofa bed (so 4 single people could each have their own rooms) and only two were initially made available to us. We had to plead a bit to get an extra bedroom in the studio opened up to us. It was a bit out of town, so after a long walk to get there, it was difficult wanting to walk back to enjoy the medie...

+ This is a beautiful little haven just outside of Navarrenx- our host, Mary, was delightful, helpful, and funny! We were able to use bikes to ride the short distance into the village and the food and room were lovely as was the pool!
− There was nothing not to like!

+ The place is fantastic right from the warm welcome from fantastic owner to the spacious accommodation and comfortable beds. This is how all accommodation should be I heartily recommend to anyone staying in the area we arrived by bike and there’s secure storage and a nice cool drink on arrival.
− The only bad thing was that I didn’t have time to stay longer.
