+ Stunning property in a beautiful location. The owners are incredibly friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast was all home made and local produce which was simply delicious and plentiful. + We liked the balance of thoughtful renovation and new installations, we liked the grandeur of the building and the fact it was being renovated with care and attention. The hosts were lovely people that are enthusiastic to talk about their journey to renovate the chateau. Breakfast was all home made and excellent.
− There wasn’t anything not to like about the property.

+ Beautiful château in a peaceful setting. The room was clean and comfortable, and the property itself is impressive.
− We were very disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, we were not given a tour of the property, no house rules were provided, and we received no information about which areas were accessible and which were private. We had to ask all the questions ourselves. During the night, we quietly explored the property without making any noise or causing any damage. After accidentally entering a room that we did not know was private, we immediately apologized as soon as the owner informed us. The following morning, despite our sincere apologies, the owner asked us to leave the property immediately, depriving us of the second night and the breakfast that were both included in our booking and already paid for. We did not receive any refund. The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately our first experience there will be remembered for the lack of information provided upon arrival, what we considered to be a disproportionate reaction from the owner, and the complete absence of any commercial goodwill.
