+ Staff friendly and polite, helpful where needed. A nice spot if you need to be close to the airport.
− The images make the hotel seem grander that it really is, and in fact it's not really a hotel but more a wedding venue booked for big events. Disappointingly the restaurant and bar were closed on Monday and Tuesday eve which was not mentioned prior to booking- and was partly why we booked in the first place! Room was ok but overpriced, a slightly soulless place all in all. Useful if you need to be close to the airport but would pick elsewhere if you want something more like a hotel.

+ The building, the rural setting, cleanliness.
− The "hotel" is in fact a large wedding-reception venue, a recently converted farm house and farm yard in a rural setting, clean and modern with well-furnished rooms and pleasant grounds. The weather was dry but in the event of rain there is a 50 metre open walk from the large, (free) car park to the reception. On arrival, two of the three reception staff spoke no English but a slender, English-speaking polite young woman from reception offered to carry our cases upstairs but in view of her stature and the steep stairs we declined, opting for an accessible room on the ground floor (with no proper window). The bed was comfortable with multiple pillows and cushions. Domaine d'En Fargou claims to be 4-star but it has no lift, a long, steep spiral staircase and during our stay the reception (with only one English speaking person - who left early) was closed from early evening and at night, with no sign of any staff at the premises and no sign of any other guests. The restaurant was closed and so was the bar, the whole place felt deserted. The breakfast buffet was basic, expensive and of 2-star standard, with no kitchen for cooked food and no staff present; there was a small layout offering warm coffee from a single insulated jug - no other choice - a flask of orange juice, plus cakes, croissants, cheese, cold meat, small pots of yogurt and muesli - adequate but certainly not four-star. There appeared to be no other guests, although there was a group of four workmen at breakfast. The hotel location was convenient. At the end of a week's fly-drive it was only half an hour from Toulouse Airport, which was the main reason for choosing it. However, after a long day driving we had expected to relax and dine (as advertised) at the hotel but instead had to do more driving into the nearby town to eat.
