- After confirming my booking and that payment is on arrival. I show up from the airport only to be informed there are no available rooms. That close to midnight they left me stranded. - A very disappointing experience. I checked into Duban Royal Hotel & Suites on 31 October 2026 at approximately 10:00 pm and was allocated Room 202. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not functioning, making the room extremely uncomfortable and unsuitable for an overnight stay. I had no choice but to check out at 10:55 pm, less than an hour after arriving, and seek alternative accommodation late at night. For a hotel advertised as a four-star establishment, I find it unacceptable that such a basic facility was not functioning. I paid directly at the hotel for a night’s accommodation but could not stay because the room was not fit for the purpose I booked it for. I have requested a full refund, as I do not believe it is reasonable to charge a guest for accommodation they could not use due to faulty facilities. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my stay. A very disappointing experience. − The environment is very bad to the extent that mouse are running around the two room we lodged in, the environment is also smelling, heating system is not working, bed sits were dirty and the rooms are very looking untidy

+ Location is reasonable for accessibility around Ikeja ... though on noisy road. Size of the room was generally okay. *Note: though I booked one night through booking.com, I actually had to spend two nights at the hotel in the end.
− Poor maintainanxe of the hotel and very very poor management. The backup for constant power failure was very inadequate ... thus the air conditioner did not work most of the time and there was no running water in the bathroom for half my stay!!!!!! Then, the hotel is so un-mindful of guests that it itself(!) was constantly playing very loud music in the pool/hangout area all day and till very late evening ........ First night was busy and staff were rushed ...was perhaps the excuse for failing to ensure that there was a toilet roll or any basic toiletry in the bathroom ... as well as for inability to provide breakfast in the morning ......
