Ednam House Hotel
About this property
Built in 1761, Ednam House Hotel combines the convenience of a Kelso town centre location with the luxury of three acres of riverside gardens to explore, providing a mix of homely relaxation, fine dining and the warmest of welcomes. There is free parking on-site.
Ednam is a stately Georgian country house, its grand history is evident throughout: ornate plasterwork ceilings, carved doors, fireplaces and stone work crafted by the finest artisans of the late 1700s. The 33 guest bedrooms, many with fine river views, offer everything you need for a perfect night’s rest and a comfortable stay. Each bedroom has been individually styled and features the finest Egyptian cotton bedlinen, flat screen television, direct-dial telephone, free superfast WIFI and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.
If you prefer a traditional home-cooked meal, then the Lounge Bar at the heart of the hotel is a relaxing space to enjoy a range of hearty dishes like locally-caught fish and hand-cut chips or a warming coq au vin with a leisurely drink or two at the end of the day. Ednam House also serves a delicious range of afternoon teas with gluten-free.
