A charming hotel with bright and individually designed bedrooms, free parking and free Wi-Fi access, in a superb peaceful yet convenient location.
Farnham House Hotel is set in over 5 acres of beautiful landscape grounds with a tennis court for a relaxing break. Farnham Rail Station is a 5-minute drive away, and there is easy access to the A31 and A3.

A beautiful historic building, set in nature, with a tree-lined entrance drive. On arrival, the person on reception volunteered a free upgrade from twin room to family room, which was a nice and unexpected touch. The room itself was nice and clean and had the kettle, teas and biscuits you would hope for. Had we come in summer, we would have enjoyed opening the door onto the balcony overlooking trees and grass. The TV in the room included freeview channels, but there's free WiFi which allowed us to watch Celebrity Traitors on catch-up on my laptop. Breakfast was a buffet, including cereals, continental and an excellent cooked selection.

I always get too hot in hotel rooms and wanted to open the window, however this particular room had a door onto a balcony, and no window, so it didn't feel safe to leave that open overnight – our balcony was connected to those of neighbouring rooms. The decor feels a bit dated and grey and the room would have benefitted from more modern design and colour to lift it. Likewise the breakfast room. However these are minor, picky points, and I would gladly book here again.
