+ Le Cozy is very well appointed and furnished with love and an eye for detail. We wanted for nothing. Its location by the church is very pretty although people should be aware that there is nothing in La Rouge, so a car is essential. But the next village is just 3 mins down the road for the morning boulangerie run and it has a little grocery shop for basics too. Further afield is the very beautiful Bellême which is well worth a visit The host, Cecilia, was great to communicate with and always responded quickly. - There was nothing to dislike. Just be aware that Le Cozy is in the heart of rural France and is a place to "get way from it all". + The place is very well equipped. There is everything anyone may possibly need and even more. Each room is furnished with attention and care. All details are chosen with taste and the place looks nothing but cozy. Very much recommended

+ Out of politeness our hostess stayed to meet us when we let her know we were running early (normally it's a key box arrangement). She showed us the private garden down a little lane, which was handy as we might not have had the confidence to find it otherwise – it's a little way away from the house. This is a spectacularly well-equipped and well-managed property, easy to find on the main road of a very pretty little town, opposite the church. There was room for our car and trailer in the public car park immediately next to the property. We almost turned it into a game to see what our hostess might have neglected to provide. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, well, those are standard. TV in the sitting room, another in the front bedroom. Two showers and two toilets. Board games and books for children – check. Oh there isn't a toaster, so she's not perfect! But there it was, in a drawer. We were three adults (and a couple of dogs), but a bustling family group could have a fantastic break here.
− Our hostess's wish for guests to take their shoes off before going upstairs may not be compatible with the carefree family holiday that the property would seem to suit so well.
