+ Traditional British-style bed & breakfast where rooms are actually individual bedrooms upstairs in the owners home, with bathroom shared between the two B&B rooms. We had to wait a little while one morning when everyone went out at the same time, but not a problem. Warm, cosy and friendly. Wonderful hosts, nice breakfast and cute little house at the top of the hill above Tobermory harbor. Easy to park our car on street outside, and we didn't need it again until we left two days later. Just a 10-minute, scenic walk down if you are averagely mobile, but might mean a short car ride if not. We didn't notice the climb back up after great scallops and chips on a harborfront bench one evening, and tasty Italian at The Gallery Restaurant in a converted church on the second. Just take your time and pause to enjoy the view! Bonus was proximity to the nearby churchyard, where we met deer hanging out by the gravestones, and a pleasant walk along country lanes to the Glass Barn, with its great cafe and fascinating cheese and spirits tour. A must if you've watched 'Designing the Hebrides', but well worth a visit in its own right. Perfectly placed to explore the rest of Mull. + Claire and Lee were very welcoming and full of information about the island. Claire provided an excellent breakfast to start the day. Their two dogs and 'Pickle' the kitten added to the homely feel. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue. Claire and Lee were very welcoming and full of information about the island. + Glenelg is a true gem of a place. Claire's warm hospitality put us immediately at ease and we had two very comfortable nights here during our trip to Mull. The breakfast was delicious and we couldn't really have asked for a better stay!

+ Cosy house and nice quiet part of town. Charming landlady and very knowledgeable.
− The only slight gripes were there was no plug to have a bath and the double bed mattress was uncomfortable for us. We both have bad backs and are used to a firm bed.
