+ Location is great for fairly quick access to beach - 10 min walk - with a supermarket even closer. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is clean and fresh - a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Separate toilet and shower/bathroom are handy and all is in good working order. Although the apartment was a small space for two adults and three kids it was still just big enough for a few nights. Wardrobe and drawers offer plenty of storage. The apartment was quiet at night and cool enough despite the summer heat. We liked being tucked away on a top floor apartment but the stairs are steep so maybe not the best for those with mobility issues. Florian is a friendly and communicative host who will do his best to ensure you enjoy your stay. We had to park the car further down the street upon arrival but the next day we managed to park directly outside. - Wobbly bathroom tap and not great ventilation in bathroom for use by 5 people. A little sharp screw end by the ladder access to the upper roof bed needs blunting/cutting off to avoid risk of nasty scratches. Couldn't figure out how to close the skylight window but it was so hot and dry we didn't need to. A larger beer glass or two would be useful for sampling the delicious local brews. + The room is part of a three floor house. It gives a comfy personal feeling. The landlord puts a lot of love into it. It‘s close to a supermarket, boulangerie and bus station. The beach is 10-15‘ by feet. The firestation nearby CANNOT be heard :-) The room is really fully furnished! You can cook and store stuff in the fridge and all tools are there. It doesn’t get too hot even during summer. The mattress is hard which I personally liked. The TV has all the streaming apps, the wifi works well. You can smoke but even if you‘re an occasional smoker or not at all the smell isn’t too bad as one could imagine.
− It‘s talking bad at a very high level (!) but one should know that due to the good price for value you will have co-visitors in the other rooms that don’t behave well. In our case they didn’t clean the shared bathroom and one time they even clogged the toilet on their first visit. They also were rather noisy even though the walls are thin and the tech is not the most modern which should be normal for 90% of people but not certain visitors… This is however of no fault of the owner! It‘s the few people that take away good things from the majority ;-(

+ Large comfortable space for the money accessed by always open street door (!) For one person more than adequate tho I didn’t realise tv was the wifi till the morning
− Not near any facilities Downstairs tenants were partying loudly until 2.15 am with lots of people coming and going I didn’t feel unsafe but it was certainly noisy

− a small amount of decoration needs as they have had a leak and may not have had time to repair the ceiling, also the bed wasn’t the very comfortable, lots of banging upstairs as people was having a party.
