+ The property is private and area is nice. On going works nearly done but overall is very good. House is clean although there were house spiders but no biggie. The pool was amazing and the area just adjacent to the pool is the lake but it is gated so no easy access to it. The area is quiet and lovely neighbourhood. There is shops and boulangerie very near. Owner welcoming and very considerate. All basic needs present. We are family of 4 and we fitted in quite nicely and doesn't feel cramped. Since we went there on high summer so it was warm all.the time, the pool was well used. There is bbq if u want but we didn't use it. Will recommend for anyone who wants to stay around Dijon as we explored Dijon it's about 20mins drive. Although it is just one of.our stopover for our way to south of 🇫🇷. - I'm scared of dogs but the rest of family loves dogs, There was family dogs when we arrived ,they are friendly. I am just scared but that is just me , the cute dog was not even bothering me. We were not aware the door in the main bedroom was not hinged properly, so nearly came off luckily my son caught it,he's tall and big, and was not hurt. + Location was lovely
− The bed, which was not a bed but a futon was awful, crisp thin mattress was unbearable. Good job there was another futon as a sofa and so we could double up on the mattress. But then we had know where to sit! Shame as the apartment is ok, lots unfinished though, I thought it was a new build but it’s 4 years old. Would be good if it were all completed with a decent comfortable bed. Chap was pleasant and I hope he listens to this review.

+ Dish washer and WiFi The water was nice and hot.
− Lots The host has no hospitality skills and is not fit to be in this business. We did not notice that arrival time was after 6 pm when we booked and messaged to notify the host we were one hour away at about 1pm. We were abruptly notified by message of the 6pm arrival time. We asked if we may use the garden area until the property was ready but were told we must obey the instructions and could not arrive early. We therefore spent 5 hours, after a long drive in Dijon center. We then arrived at the property at 6.15 pm and there was no one there to meet us. We tried to call the host but he did not respond to our calls or texts. After multiple times of knocking on the door a 14 year old girl opened the door. She rang her parents and then showed us to the flat which is an under build of the owners house. The property is unfinished. The gardens are unkempt. The pool area is unfinished with weeds growing around. Inside the apartment has areas that are unfinished, there is no bathroom, just a shower in the bedroom and a wash basin also in the bedroom. It rained heavily overnight so when we left in the morning we needed to cross a wet garden which has no pathway and the very wet grass is overgrown. This meant my wife must walk barefoot or spoil her expensive shoes. She crossed barefoot. All in all this property is not fit for purpose and the host is clearly interested only in taking money and not offering any hospitality. As a footnote, I am 80 years old and have spent a lifetime in the hotel industry all over the world so feel very qualified to say this is a shoddy arrangement. It is unfortunate that only 4 pictures can be uploaded here, I have many more.
