- We were woken up by a member of staff chatting loudly on the phone at 6:20 am. 6:20 am!!!! Other members of staff were heard talking and coming up and down the stairs, checking rooms from 6:30 am onwards, discussing life loudly. This was very unprofessional and upsetting. The bathroom smelled damp and toilet seat was discoloured (could not tell if it was caused by the lack of regular cleaning or it was just old). The shower was usable but water was pretty much leaking from everywhere. The rugs in front of our 2 single beds looked as if they had not been washed for a while. Could not use aircon at night as it was making a squeaky sound (only when set to "swing"). If these cheap (apart from the aircon, I guess) and easy-to-fix things could be improved, it could be a simple and cosy place to stay. - -Strange acces to the room through backyard and (seems) not used part of the restaurant but it is not a real problem. It seems that the rooms were made by remodeling some utility rooms. -The smell that constantly spreads from the toilet to the room (the room and the toilet are connected by an opening in the ceiling of the bathroom (!) so closing the door does not help). -Not very clean, old furniture and spiders everywhere -No fridge in the room. There is one in the "corridor" (not checked if works). -Big pillows are very bad. -Overpriced for this quality -Strange acces to the room through backyard and (seems) not used part of the restaurant but it is not a real problem....
