+ Excellent location near A1 for breaking journey south. Lovely staff and lovely buildings and site, with lots of history and nice surrounding countryside.
− Food was really good but could have been warmer, perhaps due to how busy the restaurant was on the evening in question. Cold beans with cooked breakfast, which was otherwise very good.

+ Check prices first, rooms are considerably more expensive if they have a wedding on. Without a Wedding the prices are very competitive
− Not much
