+ Nice hostal in the quiet town of Cuzcurrita de Rio Tirrón. Easy to reach by car with parking right in front of the hotel. Cuzcurrita itself can be explored by foot and there are some quiet walking trails in the surrounding. Different places in La Rioja can be easily reached by car. + Although neither of us could communicate in a common language,,we managed quite happily to understand each other. Nice quiet location. Ideal for an overnight on the way to ferry at Bilbao. Great value for money.

+ No other quests. Clean room.
− The bar was closed and nobody to talk to in the morning till 8.10am when I had to leave so I did not have breakfast I paid for. Outdated room. Noise behind the window all evening.
