+ We had the whole place to ourselves. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully equipped. It was a real bonus having the kitchen. There aren’t a range cooking facilities (other than a microwave) but it was great to be able to keep things chilled, have breakfast in the morning etc. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves - a real lusury after budget, chain hotels en route. Communication regarding the booking was a bit confused. I think Booking.com isn’t as quick as it used to be to forward messages so check-in was delayed. I had to phone the owners in the end. They were great and all went smoothly but I had to use a website to send booking information which was quite detailed. Not great if you don’t have internet access. We have a motorbike and parking was on the street outside the apartment. It was perfectly safe but it felt s little vulnerable. Just something to be aware of. + The communication before arrival was great. The hostel is spotless & each room has a private bath. The kitchen is not for cooking but has refrigerator & coffee maker (easy for breakfast), other meals we ate in town. The host was very friendly & welcoming and answered every request (extra pillow//towels) to make our stay perfect. The little town has a nice plaza to enjoy a glass of wine.
− Wish it had cooking facilities because there was a lovely grocery store right across the street.

+ This was a lovely, safe, bright, comfortable, very clean stay. Each room has it's own lock and has its own spacious bathroom facilities with a shower - unexpected in a "hostel". The host was especially friendly & welcoming. Communication from arrival to check-out was accessible & thorough. I rated everything as the best (except the value, because we stayed during the 2026 eclipse & the rates definitely reflected their position on the center line of totality). I'm sure the regular rate is more than fair.
− The shared kitchen has all dishes/utensils but, only a coffee maker, fridge & microwave. It would be nice to have a cooking space - but we found several small bars & a great grocery store with take-away only a few steps down the road.
