+ Recently refurbished, this is a great little hotel with a bar & restaurant and lovely staff, located just off the A-366 roundabout in the northwest of town. Street parking outside or large car public park at the rear. My air-conditioned, very comfortable ensuite room was on the top floor served by a lift and had been cleverly designed to fit in the roof space. I stayed there on the evening of the Spain-v-France world cup semi-final. The terrace and bar were packed and the atmosphere electric. I may have looked rather sad sitting in the restaurant eating my evening meal all alone but it suited me fine. I’d had some banter with the audience beforehand, explaining that I was English but lived in France. After the match we were looking forward to England beating Argentina the next day and meeting Spain in the final. Sadly it was not to be. The staff were extremely busy during the match but I was well looked after and enjoyed a nice meal in my lonely enclave. My stay culminated with breakfast – café con leche, tostada con tomate y aceite – served on the terrace surrounded by some friendly local residents. It felt great to be back in “real Spain”, staying in a lovely town and meeting lovely people. A very enjoyable stay at a great little hotel. + The Sango is very good value and the staff are very friendly..The hostel is very close to the bus stop..3 or 4 buses to/ from Málaga six days per week..I stayed in a small single room, basic but very clean.. Shared bathroom also very clean..Some rooms have air-conditioning which in mid summer would be advisable. There is a cafe/ bar downstairs with a terrace..prices are very reasonable. Single bed was comfortable..there was also a small desk with chair...I definitely will be returning...

+ It was clean, modern and comfortable. The location is excellent and the Mountain View to the rear is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The lady on reception was very polite and helpful. When we want to stay in the centre of Alozaina we shall check availability here first.
− There was nothing that we didn’t like.
