Hotel La Locanda
About this property
Set in the historic centre of Volterra, Hotel La Locanda offers classic rooms with free Wi-Fi. The Roman Theatre and Porta Fiorentina Gate are a short walk away.
Decorated with Etruscan carvings, this converted nunnery once belonged to historian Anton Filippo Giacchi. The building is complete with a small inner garden.
Satellite TV and a minibar are standard in all rooms at La Locanda. Some rooms offer a spa bath or a hydromassage shower.
Breakfast is buffet style, with a selection of cold meats, cheeses and cakes. The property's restaurant is 100 metres away, and serves local food and wines.
Volterra Train Station is 2 km away, and it is a 30-minute drive to picturesque San Gimignano.
