- Photos are misleading, the room was smaller by a lot. The owner didn't speak English which is unfortunate but we managed to communicate somehow They have no private parking! For me it was very unfortunate and was the biggest mislead at all, it was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel because I know how expensive or tricky can be to find parking spot in season at this place, I don't know why they have it written that they have private parking. The receptionist told us we can park around the corner on the street. It is possible that I misunderstood him because of language barier, even though I don't think they have private parking. The most annoying think in the room is smoke alarm, it just blinking all the night with green LED light on the bottom and sometimes on the side. I don't know the reason and didn't have energy to communicate it with staff (not that they would understand English). That is really bad, everything else (except for parking) I can understand, it didn't meet my expectation, maybe I have high hopes for no reason, idk. But the LED was absolutely furious. Second night there was some sport team and they were very loud after 10pm, hotel staff was obviously not there so I couldn't do anything about it, this was unlucky, but not mistake of the hotel manager or the stuff, it just happens. + The hotel has a cheap feeling. Once you pass that then you're fine. Pricier hotels in the location are the same too from what I saw. Staff is friendly and helpful, they set us up with parking (for the blue parking places, across the whole town - of course, it was not free. Free parking is only available at the eco parking spot at the entrance of the city at about 1,5km away from the hotel). Location is great. Not first row (and the street doesn't have a great feeling - it's more like a back alley), but it's 5 minutes from the beach. Walking distance from the center. Ok-ish breakfast. I would have liked more vegetables, but they had a variety of fruits (and a lot of sweet pastries if that's your thing for breakfast)
− We got the smallest room there was available. The entrance door bumped in the bed, there was literally no space around the bed for anything. Very small window and ugly view (on a service staircase). Ugly old 80's furniture. We got a glimpse of other rooms, those were spacious and much lighter with a bigger window - make sure you ask for the bigger rooms! (They have the same style furniture too, sadly) Ok-ish breakfast, too few veggies (plenty of sweets for breakfast, if that's your thing though). The furniture on the terrace is plain plastic... and the general feeling is just cheap. Staff doesn't really speak English; they were nice and helpful, so not complaining about that - but there could be a language barrier that you need to keep in mind.
