+ The hotel facilities are very good, but what really pleased us was the buffet. The food was very fresh and of good quality, it varied every day, with a different theme every night (Asian, Mediterranean, Mexican...). Much of the food was cooked from scratch in front of you. The variety of fish and meat was excellent, as well as an abundant choice of cheeses, cold meats, breads, fruits and desserts. A very pleasant surprise were the fresh juices available for breakfast every morning. No juices from concentrate but homemade! Lots of healthy choices to start the day. The hotel itself is beautiful and it is in an exceptionally good location, right at the beachfront. The apartment was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The gym, although very small, was well equipped for small workouts and a bit of cardio. The evening entertainment was nice although sitting availability was sometimes limited. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, from front desk to catering and the animation team, everyone was very nice. An excellent experience overall. - We were very unhappy with the fact that there is no provision for non smokers to sit in any of the terraces. Smoking is allowed everywhere outdoors, including sunbeds, around the pool and all the terraces, as well as areas with children. In this time and age, separate areas for smokers should be a must! It was absolutely revolting to be surrounded by smoke all the time, there was no way of escaping it! It really did put a damper on our stay. It was also quite disappointing that the apartment's kitchen was not stocked with even the basics. No washing liquid, scourer sponge or kitchen towels, something you would expect as a bare minimum in a 4 star hotel. Another improvement needed would be the air conditioning in the gym. Most of the time it was off, you had to call maintenance to switch it on, and then there was only one of the machines working. Despite raising this issue a few times, it was not sorted while we were at the hotel. It was incredibly hot as the gym is very small and it was very busy most of the times. The opening times of the gym are not very convenient either (8am-8pm) which means you can not do early or late workouts, something greatly desirable in that heat. A 4 star hotel should really consider to either expand those hours or offer a 24/7 which is usually the case. + Great location , choice of pool or beach , huge complex but got a great night sleep , huge pool and lots of nooks and crannies to relax around the hotel , we only stayed one night but would stay again .
− Not easy to get loungers by the pool , people tended to put towels down and go away for the day .. a lot of children everywhere ,

+ Gorgeous views, pool, and beach access. The food was extraordinary in quality, diversity, and abundance. The staff generally lovely (aside from a few ornery male bartenders) but other than that, so professional and welcoming. Rooms are on the side small but we loved the clean glass modern bathrooms with waterfall showers. A delightful stay.
− Rooms were warm and no AC control. It was a Euro heatwave so we understand. Parking was pricey but very secure and accessible. I'd hoped the resort would provide beach lounge chairs but they were run by others for 7 Euros/day. Entertainment was a mixed bag. Some fabulous and some kitch.

+ Our stay was really good, we were with our 3 years old and he had loads of fun. Despite not being the high season they were still activities for kids. Everything was clean, the staff was amazingly nice. There is plenty of restaurant all around and Nerja is a must to visit. Torro del mar it’s not far aswell with its shopping center and seaside. I highly suggest to rent a car it’s easier to go around. But we will definitely come back. What I love the most was that most of people were either families with kids or elderly (obviously there were other groups youngs and so) but the majority were families and that was nice to us.
